Dr. Roebuck is a board-certified doctor of nursing practice with a dermatology focus. She has been involved in various aspects of dermatologic research including: acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, melanoma, skin aging, skin cancer, urticarial (hives), cosmetic procedures and anesthesia pain management.

Dr. Roebuck is a true expert and thought leader within her industry, proven by her work and impact in the world of dermatology.

Her doctoral study on skin cancer prevention and detection has been published and presented at national conferences. Since 2001, she has taught the pediatric section of the review course for the dermatology boards. She teaches at universities and national conferences, training students and other healthcare providers in the latest treatments and techniques for optimal skin health outcomes. Through her personal practice, she hosts aesthetic training courses that help healthcare professionals get certified in skin enhancement procedures.

Additionally, Dr. Roebuck has studied the psychology of how adults learn, which helps her better educate professionals and provide information to patients and families in a way that enhances the healing process.

Previous to her career as a skin care doctor, Dr. Roebuck worked as an intensive care nurse and cardiac arrest team member at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She also worked in ECMO: Heart Lunch Bypass at the University of Michigan, assisting patients with complex dermatologic conditions that can affect multiple organs and body systems.

Her education and background has given her a deep well of knowledge and insight into how to care for patients. Dr. Heather L. Roebuck truly believes in the importance of patient safety and positive patient experiences, and she continues to research the newest biological treatments in dermatology in order to offer the best options available.
